AUSTINTOWN, Ohio -- Baldwin Wallace University sophomore men's golfer Ben Ladaika (Erie, Pa./Erie Cathedral Prep) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for the first time in his career.

Ladaika earns his first career honor as he was won his first career medalist honor at last Saturday's River Greens Invitational hosted by John Carroll University at the River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette.

Ladaika won the invitational by three strokes as he fired a career-low round of two-under on the on the par-72 and 6,800-yard River Greens layout.

This season, Ladaika has played in all 10 tournaments and 14.5 rounds.   He is fourth on the team with a career-low average of 79.93

For his career, Ladaika has played in 21 tournaments, 35.5 rounds and has a career-average of 80.82.

BW closes out the regular season portion of its schedule when it travels to West Lafayette on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 27-29 for the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Muskingum University at the River Greens Golf Course.
