Kyle Payne is Men's Freshman of the Year
BEREA, OHIO - Baldwin Wallace University freshman forward Kyle Payne (Brunswick) is the OAC Men's Basketball Freshman of the Year.
Payne had an outstanding freshman season en route to being the Freshman of the Year. The honorable mention All-OAC selection led the Yellow Jackets in scoring at 15.3 ppg., was second with 4.8 rpg., third with 21 three-pointers and shot 54.9% from the floor on 128-of-233 attempts and had 17 assists, 16 steals and nine blocked shots. His best games were a pair of 25-point performance against Wilmington College and Hiram College.
