ERIE, PENNYLVANIA – The Baldwin Wallace University men's swimming and diving team lost to host Penn State Behrend (Pa.) University today (Saturday, November 16, 2013) in the Junker Center.
The BW men lost to PS-Behrend, 112-81. With the loss, the BW men are now 3-4 overall.
The men were led by freshman Jacob Burk (Bowling Green) who won the 1000-yard freestyle in a time of 10:19.34 and the 500 free in 5:00.56. Sophomore Justin Allison (Napoleon) placed first in the 100 free in 51.21 seconds and was second in the 50 free in 22.47 seconds.
The 400-yard freestyle relay team consisting of sophomore Henry Hammond (Cleveland Heights), Burk, senior Bryan Hitch (Lakewood) and freshman Taylor Elgart (Shaker Heights) finished first in 3:55.91.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, November 23 when they travel to Alliance, Ohio for a 1:00 p.m. Ohio Athletic Conference dual match versus the University of Mount Union.
